Client Objectives

Thunderhead is an exciting technology company headquartered in the UK with offices around the world. Their growth and expansion has been unprecedented. For their U.S. headquarters, they wanted a Class A property in the heart of Midtown that had prestige and great presence. They required raw space so that they could build an installation to their specifications which included: custom wood timbers, full height walls of glass, column-free training room and an AC system that could run 24/7.

The Result

After scouring Midtown from glass office towers to iconic landmarks, the answer was an entire tower floor at 551 Fifth Avenue, “Fred F. French Building.” The floor had outstanding Midtown views overlooking Fifth Avenue with three exposures. The existing installation was about to be demolished by the landlord giving Thunderhead an empty canvas to realize their dreams and vision.
